Political Parties are an entrenched aspect of the American political culture.  I'm not ashamed to reveal that I dislike them immensely.  Why?   If nothing else, they have a tendency to ignore and or hinder many who could make significant contributions.

When we think of political parties, we immediately think of the Republicans or Democrats.  They do, after all, dominate American politics.   But there are many others out there on the fringes of American politics.

The following is a list (in alphabetical order) of alternatives to the Republican and Democratic parties.  A few have made significant inroads into the process, others may get their turn to become influential in years to come.

Of course, there are some that shouldn't exist at all.  This is America and all should have the opportunity to express their political goals.  I very much mean that.   I just hope that the majority of us have enough common sense to ignore pure idiocy.   It is important that we protect our rights and in doing so, protecting their rights as well.
