Martin van Buren
Born 1782.  Died 1862.  Eighth President of the United States from 1837 to 1841.  U.S. Senator from 1821 to 1828.  Also held the post of Secretary of State during Andrew Jackson's first term.  Was elected Vice president of the United States in 1833.
